My sister’s wedding ceremony

WEDNESDAY, January 31, 2019 will remain etched in my mind as it was my sister Rumbidzai’s wedding day.

Early in the morning, with the sun still behind the mountains, everyone was full of excitement as we got ready for the wedding ceremony.

The bride was wearing a beautiful wedding gown and high heeled shoes whilst the bride groom was wearing a nice suit and glossy shoes.

The bride-maids were wearing magnificent blue and white dresses and high heeled shoes, while the bridegroom’s team was wearing impressive black suits and glossy shoes.

The venue was well decorated and hundreds of people attended the ceremony.

Soft music was played as the bride entered the venue.

All faces turned to the bride as the veil covered her beautiful face.

Women ululated as the couple said their wedding vows and cheered even more when they kissed.

Moments later, food was served and the children waited impatiently for their food.

The food was very tasty and the cake was delicious.

The bridal team started dancing joyfully to the music while people lined up with their gifts.

A variety of presents were given to the couple, including cash.

The wedding ceremony had to come to an end even though people were still dancing and having fun.

I will never forget that day because it was really fun and enjoyable.
