NAPH set competition dates

Zonal competitions will be held on 24 February, the district championships on 3 March, the provincials on 16 March and the national gala on 28 March.
This was confirmed by NAPH chairperson Enock Ncube during a break at yesterday’s workshop.
“We have released the athletics calendar for 2012 and it is as follows, zonal competitions will be held on 24 February, district finals on 3 March, provincials on 16 March and the national competition on 28 March.
“What is now left is for schools to come up with their own dates for inter-house and inter-schools competitions to come up with teams for the zonal competition and this is usually spaced into two-week gaps, that is inter-houses will be held two weeks before the inter-schools competitions and inter-schools two weeks before the zonal championships,” he said.
