National women’s soccer league begins

 

She said Marange Resources, their official sponsor, had fulfilled their promise and each team had received their two sets of kits and tracksuits.

She said they were grateful to Marange for the support and they were happy that the league was finally going to take off.

Inline Academy secretary-general Trust Kwembeya also said they were ready for their first opponents, Flame Lily, and were expecting to start on a high note.

“We are happy that we are finally going to go onto the field of play after a long period of preparations and we are expecting to start off with a win since we are playing at home,” Kwembeya said.

He also expressed gratitude to Marange Resources who will virtually cover all costs of running the League.

Apart from Inline Academy, the other Bulawayo representatives New Orleans are away to Cyclone Stars in Harare and chairman Thabiso “Mafika” Bhebhe said the team was ready to take on Cyclone Stars.
