SOCIAL media sensation Nceku will be in Harare today where he will stage a solo performance  at Prince Edward High School.

The comedian will share his “I am Nceku” performance with those in Harare after having delivered a short but sterling skit performance in the capital last year, igniting interest from an events company who have invited him to show them what he has as a solo performer.

His spokesperson, Revelator Nyathi said the comedian was upbeat ahead of his Harare performance.

“Soon after launching his I am Nceku project in December last year in Bulawayo, Nceku attended a Family Covenant Church Conference in Harare where he showcased one of his skits just for a short time. Little did he know he had drawn interest from people in the capital who had attended the conference.

“After his performance there, Naletha Media, an events company followed Nceku’s works on social media and also watched his debut I am Nceku DVD.

They were impressed and engaged him so that he takes his ‘I am Nceku’ comedy show to Harare hence his visit there,” said Nyathi.

Though Nceku has become a household name in Bulawayo and online, Nyathi said the show will be a way of introducing him to new crowds.

“This show is another way for Nceku to expand his comedy territory in the country. This will also give strength and confidence to the Nceku brand and Christian comedy,” he said.

Nceku has so far staged three regional shows — two in South Africa and the other one in Botswana. He is now preparing for an international show in the UK alongside Doctor Tumi and Sebastian Magacha.
