NDARAMA High School’s students know that hard work is their ticket to academic success, says the school’s Headmaster Oddy Matongo.

The 2024 O-Level and A-Level results have demonstrated the school’s hard work and resilience after facing some challenges last year.

He said the remarkable achievements demonstrate their commitment to academic excellence.  The school has a vibrant Music Department, which scooped the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe High School gold medal for 2022.

The School has a dedicated staff of 67 teachers, 14 non-teaching and 12 attaches.

Mr Matongo said the school is shaping a vision of academic success for all students.

CHALLENGES

Fee collection remains a concern, impacting our projects.

Inadequate classrooms resulting in hot-sitting.

We need specialist rooms, a computer laboratory, and a school hall.

Transportation and water supply remain pressing issues.

WATER CRISIS

Ndarama High School lacks a reliable water supply which affects day-to- day operations, especially hygiene and sanitation.

Despite these challenges, we have made significant strides:

The recent installation of Starlink Internet enhances our digital capabilities.

We plan to empower teachers with cell phones and laptops for research.
