Ndoro aims for golden boot award

UNSETTLED Mpumalanga Black Aces striker Tendai Ndoro is aiming for the top goalscorer’s gong.
The striker, who could make a last minute switch to either Mamelodi Sundowns or Orlando Pirates today, believes the race for the award is still wide open.

Ndoro said he has a huge chance of becoming the Absa Premiership top goalscorer. He said there were still a lot of games to be played in the second half of the season.

“I’m enjoying my football career right now and the pre-season training is going smoothly. I want to continue where I left off in the first half of the season. We ended outside the Top 8 which almost affected our momentum,” said Ndoro.

The former Chicken Inn striker has already scored six goals while the leading goalscorer has eight goals.

Ndoro’s contract with the Mpumalanga based team ends in June and is hopeful that he will continue playing for the team as negotiations between him and the club are on-going apart from interest from Pirates and Sundowns.

Last season Ndoro scored seven goals after playing a handful of games.
