AN ANGRY mother knows no hunger!

It has emerged Tendai Ndoroas mother Christina Ndoro was so angry that she refused to eat her dinner when she realised that her son was not in coach Kalisto Pasuwaas starting line-up for the game against Senegal where the Warriors went down 2-0.

Frustration crept in largely because her son didnat play in the Group B opener against Algeria where the result was a 2-all draw.

a?I was so pained that day and I did not eat my supper,a? she said.

Like many Zimbabweans she thought her son would feature prominently in the team since he showed his mantle in friendly matches against teams like Cameroon (where he scored) during the run-up to the competition.

a?I kept asking myself why he was benched when even the media was reporting about his fine form and capabilities,a? she said.

Tendaias father Silas Ndoro believes his son would have formed a formidable frontline playing with Kuda Mahachi and Khama Billiat.

a?The coaches have the best explanation but I also feel Tendai deserved more game time alongside Kuda Mahachi and Khama Billiat,a? he said.

Ndoro was only introduced deep into the second half against Senegal.

He was to warm the bench for 45 minutes when Zimbabwe played Tunisia in their last Group B match that ended 4-2 in favour of the North Africans.

He was introduced as a second half substitute and scored the second goal following Knowledge Musonaas opener.
