NEW: AfDB to continue supporting Zim development projects

THE African Development Bank (AfDB) has committed to support Zimbabwe in developing three major projects in the mining, infrastructure development and ICT.

This came out during a meeting between President Mnangagwa and investors at the ongoing Africa Investment Forum 2022 Market Days in Ivory Coast on Thursday.

Said AfDB president Dr Akinwumi Adesina: “Since yesterday, we have been looking at various opportunities for Zimbabwe, because the African Development Bank strongly supports Zimbabwe. We have three projects which Zimbabwe has brought to the Africa Investment Forum that amount to US$270 million.”
