NEW: Business as usual at courts during festive season

Online Reporter

IT will be business as usual around the country’s courts, as the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPA) will not scale down its operations during the festive season.

The NPA stated that handling issues in the quickest amount of time will be the primary focus.

NPA spokesperson Ms Angeline Munyeriwa said they are targeting to bring to completion some high profile matters, where judgments are expected to be handed down before year-end.

“We can assure the public that any postponements (of court matters) will not be at the instance of the State,” she said.
