NEW: Horror as woman throws 4-year-old son into river

THE Shamva community has been left shell-shocked after a 21-year-old woman allegedly threw her four-year-old son into a river.

The boy’s body was later found floating on May 20. 

Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident. 

“On May 23, 2022, police in Shamva arrested Trish Muchando (21) in connection with a murder case in which she allegedly threw her four-year-old son into the Mazowe River at the Mazowe Bridge on May 19, 2022,” he said.
