APPROPRIATE digital tools are important for businesses operating in the ‘new normal’.
This comes as companies across the world have had to adopt a hybrid working systems due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The pandemic has accelerated the digitalisation drive across sectors, with its adoption high especially in the financial services sector as where almost all services moved to digital platforms.
Said Liquid Intelligent Technologies regional chief commercial officer, Mr Hemilton Manika:
“Lack of access to the right tools means that employees will not be able to work effectively.
“A vital ingredient of a successful hybrid model is access to digital technologies like the cloud.”
He added:
“Hiring the right talent is only half the battle. Organisations need to ensure that the right talent pool has access to the right tools. The ‘hybrid working environment’ is becoming common in many companies, reaping significant benefits from this new model.”
As countries continue to relax Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, some businesses have insisted on their workforce returning to the office.
Others have maintained the remote working strategy on the back of benefits such as increased productivity and reduced rentals as well as choosing from a global pool talent.
Mr Manika said the hybrid working model was proving to be ideal and allowing businesses to easily expand into regional markets in a more cost-effective way.
