A 20-year-old woman from Kwekwe has been sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment for aggravated indecent assault of a 12-year-old boy.

According to court records, the offence was committed on January 14, 2026, at around 8pm.

The court heard that on the day in question, the offender, who is not related to the victim, was watching pornographic videos from her phone with the minor.

Afterwards, the offender undressed before instructing the boy to also take off his clothes.

The offender proceeded to have sexual intercourse with the minor, who, according to the law, cannot consent.

The incident came to light when the minor informed his mother, who reported the matter to the police, leading to the offender’s arrest and subsequent prosecution.
