A NEW-LOOK Sables take on a Kenyan side without most of their players in this afternoon’s Africa Cup showdown at the Police Grounds. Coach Cyprian “Super” Mandenge is hopeful his men will deliver. “Kenya play their brand of rugby but I am not worried because we have our own game plan. Besides, we have beaten them before and we have home advantage,” said Mandenge.

“We are going to make several changes but the good thing is the players have played several league matches together.

“We will have some tactical changes.” Kenya captain Brian Nyikuli said they have put behind them last year’s disappointment to focus on this year’s campaign. “We have a good side and we will not look in the past. We will give it our best in the game against Zimbabwe and we thank Kenya Rugby Union for the support, we have been training hard for the game,” said Nyikuli.

“Zimbabwe are a very physical and strong side who have well-built players and they play with structure and we must be well prepared for them.

“We can come out with a result if we stick to our structures. The forwards are playing well and so are the backs and I expect a good game against the Sables,” said Nyikuli.
