ON-FIRE national team striker Tawanda Maswanhise says his confidence is “at an all-time high”, as he celebrates a second consecutive Player of the Month award at Scottish top-flight side Motherwell.
Maswanhise has scored five league goals since October 30 and was also voted Motherwell’s best player in November.
The 22-year-old attacker’s latest goal was on Sunday when Motherwell beat Aberdeen 2-0.
“My confidence is at an all-time high, which I think has given me an extra edge on the pitch,” said Maswanhise.
“We have navigated a testing time well as a team and I’m glad I can contribute.
“My thanks go to all the fans for their support.”
Maswanhise joined Motherwell on loan from Leicester City in August.
He has been in fine form for both club and country.
He scored the goal that secured Zimbabwe’s place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Needing just a draw against Kenya in a Group J qualifier in Polokwane in November, the Warriors did just that with Maswanhise scoring in a 1-1 draw.
