THE Zimbabwe Media Commission (ZMC) will from June to August this year conduct a stakeholder engagement in selected districts and provinces on the work and mandate of the statutory body.

According to ZMC, the outreach will also apprise stakeholders on the ongoing media reforms and new legislation, including available mechanisms for citizens to access information held by public bodies as provided for by the Freedom of Information Act.

“The ZMC team will be in Chinhoyi and Kariba in Mashonaland West Province from Wednesday June 15 to Friday June 17, 2022,” said ZMC in a statement.

“The meeting and accreditation in Chinhoyi will take place at the Orange Groove Motel on June 15, 2022.”
