Former Ngezi Platinum Stars assistant coach Alex Sigion is back in the country after an 18-month stint with Eswatini side Nsingizini Hotspurs.
It was a successful stint for the young gaffer as he led the Eswatini side to its debut appearance in the Confederations Cup during the 2024-25 campaign.
Sigion is now back in the country after parting ways in mutual separation with Nsingizini Hotspurs last month.
The former FC Platinum U-19 coach told Zimpapers Sports Hub that he is now back in the country.
He believes his stay in Eswatini was a good stepping stone to his career as a head coach.
“I am now back in the country after spending 18 months as head coach of Nsingizini Hotspurs.
“It was a valuable experience that I gained during my stay and I believe the experience I got will be worthwhile as I look forward to my career as a head coach,” said Sigion.
The former Ngezi Platinum Stars coach is ready for his next challenge.
“I think with the experience I managed to get I am ready for my next challenge.
“I am open to offers locally,” he said.
Before parting ways with Nsingizini Hotspurs the club occupied the second position in the MTN Eswatini Premiership.
During the 2024-25 campaign Sigion took charge of 27 Premier League games winning 10 drawing six and losing only three matches during the current campaign while he won three matches out of four in domestic knock-out competition.
