South African gospel musician Khanyani Shoba has expressed his desire to work with Janet Manyowa.
Shoba says he appreciates the support from Zimbabwean music fans.
Shoba, who is popular for the track ‘Ngikunik’udumo’, which is currently playing on the local airwaves is planning to visit the country when Covid -19 restrictions are relaxed.
“Zimbabwe is amazing in terms of supporting my music which is being played on various radio stations and on TV as well,” said Shoba.
“It is such a humbling experience and I am planning to visit Zimbabwe when things are under control with Covid-19, and I will be doing a song with one of the Zimbabwean gospel artistes.
“I have always wanted to work with Janet Manyowa so I am planning on collaborating with her.”
Meanwhile Shoba has released a new refreshing single titled ‘Mfalme Wa Wafalame.’
“The new single was inspired by God. He is the one who gave me the song to compose and sing and worship him,” said Shoba.
Apart from the new single he added that he is working on more music that will be released in the near future.
Shoba currently has one album to his name, ‘Ngikunik’udumo’ that carries 10 tracks.
He started doing music professionally in 1999 with the group Sacred Fellows and then went solo in 2014.
