THE Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development in collaboration with Zimbabwe National Water Authority has successfully installed tapped water in Tara Village of Ward Four in Buhera West.

Buhera West legislator, Cde Saul Nzuma said the development brings relief to the local community that had gone for years fetching water from unprotected sources.

“The installation of tapped water in Tara Village is of huge benefit to the local community. For years we had endured travelling long distances, but now we can easily access the precious liquid from a safe source. We want to thank Government for this move which has brought convenience to villagers,” he said.

Cde Nzuma said the availability of tapped water will reduce the risk of water-borne diseases outbreaks.
