ZIMBABWE senior netball team captain Felisitus Kwangwa has been named the Vitality Netball Super League Coaches’ Player of the Year 2022.

Kwangwa, who plies her trade with England outfit Surrey Storm, has had an outstanding season in which she helped her side to a top-eight finish.

The club described Kwangwa as a player who has demonstrated sheer determination and growth.

“This award represents a player who has shown the most improved play in 2022 and potential to put in some winning performances.

“When the athlete returned from the summer break, it was clear she had put in so much as she was fitter, stronger and more determined than ever,” said Surrey Storm.
