The pair was nabbed while awaiting transportation to Sakubva after smuggling the consignment through an illegal point near Marymount Teachers’ College

POLICE in Shamva, Mashonaland Central Province, on Tuesday arrested three men, including two brothers, in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old man.

The suspects allegedly fatally attacked the victim with machetes.

Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrests.

“On June 14, police in Shamva arrested Blessmore Mudavanhu (37), John Mudavanhu (23), and Edgar Chiponda (29) in connection with a murder case in which suspects allegedly fatally attacked David Shuvha (21) with machetes at a certain night club in Shamva on June 12, 2022,” he said.
