Zimbabwe A and a Zimbabwe Select cricket side will host Pakistan A in six one-day matches and two four-day games early next month.
The series is part of Zimbabwe’s preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers, which the country is expected to host in June.
During those qualifiers, the Chevrons will battle it out with nine countries for the two remaining slots for the ICC Cricket World Cup, which will be hosted by India in October.
The tour will start with two four-day games between Zimbabwe A and Pakistan A, the first of which will be played at Kwekwe Sports Club on May 3 to 6.
The second four-day match will be held at Mutare Sports Club between May 10 and 13.
After the two four-day matches, a Zimbabwe Select side will then host Pakistan A in 50-over matches in Harare.
The first 50-over match is set for Takashinga Sports Club on May 17, with the remaining games slated for Harare Sports Club from May 19 to 27.
“Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) arranged the series to help Zimbabwe fine-tune for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 that will be staged across four venues in Harare and Bulawayo from June 18 to July 9,” said ZC in a statement.
