THE Zimbabwe Real Estate Expo inaugural event, that was set for next month, has been moved to the end of this year, and will include buyers touring properties in various areas in Harare.
The expo, which was slated for September 12 to 14 at the Borrowdale Race Course, will now take place, at a hotel in Harare from December 12 to December 14.
Players in the real estate industry, investors and other stakeholders will be afforded the platform to share notes that are an ingredient to drive growth.
The Zimbabwe Real Estate Expo chief executive officer Mrs Nonhlanhla Tutani said the event will feature exhibitions from leading real estate companies that will showcase the latest developments and innovations in the sector.
“As Zimbabwe experiences a burgeoning real estate boom, characterised by state-of-the-art properties and innovative cluster developments, the expo aims to bridge the gap between developers and potential buyers,” she said.
“The main focus of the Zimbabwe Real Estate Expo is to create a seamless connection between developers wanting to sell and buyers and investors looking to make valuable purchases, thus aligning the real estate and construction industry to the Vision 2030 to transform Zimbabwe to an upper middle-income economy.
“We want to invite our Diaspora community to tour and buy into the exciting developments happening back home. We are in discussions with some international airlines for flight discounts to those who register to attend the expo in December.”
In a shift from traditional selling techniques at events that rely on images and video showcases, the expo will feature 10-tour buses that will take buyers and investors directly to various developments by different developers, including clusters, gated communities and apartments.
“Developers must register their properties for tours now, ensuring that potential buyers experience these fantastic projects at first-hand,” she said.
