NIGERIAN gospel star, Minister GUC, is set to perform in Zimbabwe on Independence Day.

The You Are All That Matters’ singer’s visit has been made possible by Set Up Events.

The concert, dubbed “The Heroes of Faith”, has been slated for Celebration Centre which is slowly becoming the preferred venue for big gospel concerts.

“We are excited to host Minister GUC this April during the ‘The Heroes of Faith’ concert with the aim of remembering and honouring all Heroes of Faith, living or slain in the battles across generations.

“From a national standpoint, we also remember our Heroes who died and fought that we might exercise our faith unhindered,” said Rudo Magwenzi of Set Up events.

Magwenzi said they hope the Nigerian singer and songwriter’s influence will be imparted on fellow artists and followers.

“Minister GUC is a highly talented and anointed singer who brings a powerful message of faith.

“We hope that his performances in the country will uplift and inspire and this is also a great opportunity for the people of Zimbabwe to experience the power of the gospel through his music,” she said.

Set Up Events will soon announce a number of supporting acts that will share the stage with the Nigerian singer.

Tickets for the event will also be available soon.

The events company successfully hosted a similar event dubbed: #TheShift which was headlined by American star Travis Greene in December last year.
