Nigeria’s biggest music acts to battle for honours

The nominees’ list for Nigeria’s biggest and most innovative music-focused awards, The Headies has just been released and it features the biggest and best music acts at present in the country. The unveiling, which premièred on HipTV on Tuesday, was done along with a Press briefing at HipTV office on Allen, Ikeja, Lagos with some of the nominees and media representatives in attendance.

This year’s nomination is based on the year in review, July 2013 to June 2014 and some of the most active acts in the Nigerian music industry are featured on the list including 2Face Idibia, Davido, Mavins, Timi Dakolo, Sheyi Shay, Wizkid, Kcee. Phyno, Olamide and others.

Some of the celebrity guests at the Press briefing included Black Magic, KCee, Orezi, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Ruby and others.
The awards ceremony will be held on October 25, 2014. – NET.
