A knowledge of self and the countryas tourist landmarks will be the most important factors in deciding who gets to have a chance to walk away with $40 000 in the upcoming reality TV show, Inside Out, as the producers begin their search for genuine characters instead of Prima Donnas.
The show began scouting for prospective candidates this week, with auditions taking place in Bulawayo on 28 and 29 October at the Rainbow Hotel. After that Inside Out moves to Gweru on 30 and 31, Masvingo on 1 November, Mutare on 2 and 3 before making a final stop in the capital on 4,5 and 6 November.
a?Remember that we are not looking for a particular talent, or a celebrity lookalike, but we are looking for the star who is you. We are looking for genuine people, so show us who you are. Remember to be truthful in all the questions.
Our selection will depend mostly on genuineness, accountability and basic knowledge of tourism in Zimbabwe,a? the showas producer Sanpolous Maplanka cautioned to prospective candidates.
The 26-cast reality game show has aspects of Big Brother and Survivor as participants would be living in outdoor settings, placed in groups and also evicted based on votes from viewers.
The 90-day series will be aired everyday for the duration of the show with two winners set to walk away with a total of $40 000 in prizes.
The reality show will see participants touring the countryas premier tourist attractions where they would stay for a week at each place as they complete various challenges after which viewers would vote two participants out.
