R’n’B singer, Nyasha David, is set to headline the inaugural Makanaka Fashion Show.
A brainchild of Jacaranda Culture and Media Corporation, the event will be held on September 3 at the Pabloz VIP Lounge at Sam Levy Village in Borrowdale.
Tickets for the event are pegged at US$20 ordinary ticket and US$50 for VIP.
In an interview with H-Metro, David said he was delighted to be part of the event. “I feel very ecstatic to be performing at the event, which is set to bring the country’s top celebrities.
“It is a very good feeling.
“It is an acknowledgment of growth and we are happy as a team to be included in this line-up,” he said.
Asked what he has in store for his fans, David said: “My performance for my fans is going to be dope.
“It is always dope; I love live performances so it is going to be massive.”
He said that it was an honour to perform alongside other fellow artists.
“It is always an honour to perform alongside other artists.
“Me and Tamy Moyo are good friends, me and Mwenje are good friends so it is always an honour to share the stage with them,” he told H-Metro.
Tamy Moyo and Mwenje Mathole have also promised a memorable event.
