Oceane Collection endorses Mudiwa

The company will also pay for the artiste’s travel and show allowances whenever he stages gigs.
“This is a show of our commitment to give back to the community and Mudiwa’s music is in line with our Christian values and we believe he has a positive message not only to other youths but Christians at large.
“What you also have to realise is that Jesus became poor for us (Christians) to be rich and we are going all the way possible to support his

music career,” Upenyu Mashangwa, the chief executive of Oceane Collection, said.

He said the endorsement would see Mudiwa in the long term having his own fragrance just like what happens with international artistes who have become brand ambassadors of their own products.
“Mudiwa is riding on a wave of popularity in the Christian community with his music and the endorsement is one of the things that we undertake after our charity work where we assist widows and orphans.

“If you look at some of the richest people you will find that a number of them are philanthropists. For instance, Mel Gibson has built a church and whatever he touches now turns to gold.
“His film ‘Passion of the Christ’ has raked in millions of dollars because money is now circulating in the kingdom of God,” Mashangwa said.

And to show their commitment, Mudiwa will be dishing out perfumes to at least four fans who attend his live shows.
This is his second major endorsement deal after the one by 4 May, an exclusive men’s clothing shop that operates in countries like South Africa and the United Kingdom.

When reached for comment, the 27-year-old dapper rapper said he was humbled by the gesture and gave praise to the Lord.
“I just want to thank the Lord for the grace. Being signed by such a reputable company is a humbling experience because out of the thousands of artistes out there, only a few have managed to get such recognition,”  Mudiwa said.

The “Chaputika Zvinestaera” singer is riding high on the gospel charts with his new album called “Magnet”.
The album features hits like “Anhu Acho Tisu” and “Ndaita Mari” that have been dominating the charts for weeks.
