The minister, however, ruled out investigations into the Matabeleland disturbances saying he did not favour laws that were implemented in retrospect. The amendments will be brought to the House of Assembly when it resumes sitting next month.
The Prime Minister’s question time was also introduced last month with Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai promising to make it a permanent feature during the duration of the inclusive Government. He urged ministers to take Parliament business seriously especially attending the question and answer sessions and promised to name and shame underperforming ministers.
