raised against Pastor Muriritirwa drew the ire of clergymen and laity who accused him of bringing the Church into disrepute.
“If it is true that the pair had sex in his house, it is wrong because normally a pastor should not allow anyone, regardless of who they are, to come into his house and have sex,” said Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe leader Bishop Trevor Manhanga.

Bishop Joshua Chiweda of Revival Ministries International said: “It is wrong for pastors to sanction such bad things to happen at their houses. It makes us wonder if he is a pastor from God because we know for a fact that God doesn’t sanction such things. Church should be the light in darkness. He cannot allow people to use his house for fornication.”
