People speak on joint rallies

hopefully the police will not come with their baton sticks and disperse everybody as usual! The three leaders mentioned must make sure they seek police clearance first so they can proceed without any hindrances. How about Dabengwa? And also Mutambara? We should embrace everybody, especially Dabengwa of Zapu. – Ndabezitha.

Do not do this President Mugabe. The imperialist embassies in Harare will pour millions of dollars to hire hooligans and hecklers for one purpose alone – to shout approval when Morgan Tsvangirai speaks and do the opposite when you take the podium.
All this will be so choreographed to portray Tsvangirai as being popular. The imperialist terrestrial TV networks, BBC, CNN, SKY NEWS and others, not to mention the chameleon Al Jazeera will catapult those images all over the world. The idea will be to prepare in advance the notion that any defeat of Tsvangirai which is imminent, will be as a result of massive vote rigging. – Murape Madzikanda.

China is the super power that it is today because the various economic and political opinions in that country are all harnessed to pursue the national interest. The success of this Chinese way of governance has rendered opposition politics in that country meaningless. If the idea behind these joint rallies is to exorcise the MDC formations of their stooge politics and to instil a sense of national interest in them then Zimbabwe is on track to transform African politics and economics forever. – Mafirakureva.

Maybe our politicians are demonstrating maturity at last. But as the MDC says, police must act fairly. That is key, otherwise this exercise will be useless. – Timi.

If this is what 2012 is bringing, then God bless us, we are moving in the right direction. – Mutengezi.
***
No! No! No! This is a big mistake by the President. The President cannot introduce Morgan to the people – province by province! What is that? Regai Tsvangirai afambe ega. – Sugar.

You seem to miss the whole idea here. The people of Zimbabwe will definitely buy the idea. Hatidi ngozi isu tarisa uone many of the perpetrators of violence varikukonya right now. Chenjerai ngozi. – Peacemaker.

President Mugabe should be warned not to eat with those that are demonising Zimbabweans at every given chance. The fact that Zanu-PF has chosen you to represent them does not mean that you continue to wine and dine with the enemy.
Enough of the GPA nonsense and even if you shout at the top of your voices I can assure you that no one will listen to you if you go ahead with this. We work with them in the GPA and they are nothing but puppets. – Naison.

Quite a noble idea but let’s walk the talk guys and not take povo for granted. – Like It.

This is political maturity. People must be free to wear regalia of the party of their choice and respect each other’s views. Let the leaders go ahead. We are one of the most literate countries but we must also show it on the political front. Pamberi naGushungo naDziva. Ncube, support madhara ako. – Mhofela.

Mwonzora is very small-minded and petty. He had started well by saying that he was not briefed on this matter and should have ended there. But being a loud mouth he had to say more and ended up questioning the decision of the Principals. This is not his initiative; it is the initiative of the Principals. His Principal have already agreed to holding joint rallies. And why shouldn’t the three Principals hold joint rallies to denounce violence? They are our leaders regardless of which party we belong to. – Mukanya.

This is a noble idea and shows maturity on the part of the leaders, but is MDC-T going to honour and abide by the intended move. MDC-T is a party which revolves and thrives on violence. I pray that the rallies will be a success. – Christopher Gatsi.

MDC-T spokesperson Mr Douglas Mwonzora said Mr Biti had not found time to brief them of the intended meetings. Despite that Mwonzora was not briefed by Tendai Biti on the request by party leaders to hold joint rallies, he goes on to play to the gallery displaying the kind of reasoning that patronises Biti and Tsvangirai. – Mabharanzi.

I don’t see anything wrong nekubatana vachiita marally vese at least hapana anozo complainer kuti vanhu varikuitwa victimise ne vanhu veanother party. This is really a noble idea. – Gee.
