Try as we might, we cannot ignore its back to serious business in schools. This happens every year we know it will be many more weeks before we get another “break”. Of cause we love school because that is the hub for everything that is important in our lives- education, friendships and everything else that make us who we are.
It is not easy when the a.m. alarm blares during the early days of the three glorious months.
Fortunately, there is music to help you glide into the mood.
Uplifting music has the ripple effect of jump starting you into the mood for conquering the world.
Make it interesting by starting your day with a personalised alarm tone.
Tip, change the tonne constantly so that it remains interesting and makes you want to sing alone each time it rings.
Once you are not sleepy any more you can continue with a playlist that you can listen to as you dress up and prepare for school.
It does not need to be on the radio or telly but phone speaker.
This should be done without disturbing other people in the house so keep your volume as low as possible. Do not be loud as well if you decide to sing along.
On your way to school, you can still play your phone or ipod and with your earphone. Please don’t get this twisted, make use of earphones on low volume so that you are able to hear people and other activities around you.
Before you know it, you will go through the sweat without breaking a sweat.

Remember to keep the funk to limits that are accepted by the school. For example, if there are compulsory back packs or strict regulations about how you wear your uniform, do exactly that
