PETER Moyo says he can’t wait to share the stage with Alick Macheso at Platinum Pick & Save on July 22.

In an interview with H-Metro, Peter said he was happy to share the stage with Baba Shero again.

“Well, it has been long since Macheso and I shared the stage so I am excited to be doing so on the 22nd.

“I have not been to Mutare in a while and I know I have not been doing justice to my fans and now is the time I give them a show.

“We all know that sungura is Macheso and Dhewa so the tour is going to be very good,” he said.

Peter said he is considering sampling a few new songs during the Mutare tour.

“I have a lot planned for Mutare considering I have not been there for a while now.

“I might even consider performing a few songs from my new album, it will all depend on the crowd,” said Peter.

Asked what he thought about the new Macheso album, Peter said:

“We all know that Macheso is Macheso and he knows his way with sungura.

“One cannot say they do not like his new album when they have not been listening to his music before.

“Look at what he is doing after a successful launch now, us, the people who appreciate his music are enjoying and will continue to enjoy.”

Peter highlighted he might consider touring the country with Macheso.

“I have some shows already lined up for the time he will be on tour.

“If an opportunity comes along, I will definitely tour with him.

“We share a relationship like no other and whenever one of us needs the other; we are there for each other,” Peter told H-Metro.
