President Mnangagwa launched the 2024/2025 Pfumvudza/Intwasa programme in Gwebu Village, Buhera, today.
This kickstarts input distribution for the forthcoming summer cropping season.
The Zunde Ramambo/Isiphala Senkosi programme was also launched.
President Mnangagwa was represented by Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development Minister Anxious
Masuka.

In his keynote address read by Minister Masuka, the Head of State and Government said his administration came up with
transformative policies such as climate-proofing agriculture to ensure an empowered and prosperous upper middle-class economy by 2030.

“The pursuit of this vision will deliver broad-based transformation, wealth creation, and provision of economic opportunities for all Zimbabweans, leaving no one and no place behind,” said President Mnangagwa.

Two School Business Units for Gwebu Primary and Secondary School as well as a Village Business Unit were also launched during the event.
They all have a thriving garden drawing water from solar powered boreholes.
