a?I can share with you everything my wife but I canat share you with another man!a?

This must be the message from a husband in Bulawayoas Makokoba suburb who stoned his heavily pregnant wife with a brick on her head before head butting her after he caught her getting cozy with her neighbour boyfriend at midnight.

The incident happened on 12 August when Richard Mundenda (32) of house number 1969, 3rd Street caught his pregnant wife Millicent Maphosa (29) in the arms of an unidentified neighbour.

Circumstances are that on the fateful day, Maphosa was sleeping with her husband in their bedroom before she left the room pretending to go to the toilet.

It is alleged that after more than 30 minutes with no sign of Maphosa the husband decided to go out and investigate.

It is said when he got outside, on the dark side of the house, Mundenda allegedly got the shock of his life when he found his wife a?comfortablea? in the arms of a neighbour. The neighbour, presumably sensing danger swiftly walked away from them.

Mundenda allegedly followed the neighbour but he disappeared into the dark and upon his return all hell broke loose as he became violent accusing his wife of cheating on him and she couldnat give a satisfactory answer for getting cozy with another man.

In a fit of rage, Mundenda allegedly assaulted Maphosa with a brick on the left side of her head before head butting her on the left side of the cheek and she fell down.

She suffered some injuries on her head, left arm and upper jaw for which she sought medical attention.

Unfortunately, as the long arm of the law would have it; for the offence Mundenda was brought before the Bulawayo magistrate Miss Evelyn Mashavakure to answer to charges of physical abuse as defined in Section 3 (a) (1) as read with section 4 of the Domestic Violence Act Chapter 5:16.

He, however, had his gods to thank as the matter was withdrawn at court before plea.
