President Mnangagwa has left Accra for Harare following a productive three-day State visit in Ghana.

Before departing, the President toured the Sweden Medical Centre in Ghana, a facility specialising in cancer treatment.

During the visit, the two countries agreed on key areas of cooperation, culminating in the signing of ten Memoranda of Understanding in the tourism, health, agriculture, education and waste management sectors.

President Mnangagwa called for the full implementation of the agreements.

The President was seen off at the Accra International Airport by Ghanaian President John Mahama, senior Ghanaian government officials, Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Ghana Kufa Chinoza and embassy officials.

The visit further strengthens bilateral ties between Zimbabwe and Ghana and is expected to deepen collaboration across the agreed sectors.
