President Mnangagwa today received a food donation of about 1760 tonnes from China as the two countries bilateral relations continue to grow from strength to strength.

The donation, which was made at State House this morning, will be distributed to vulnerable groups in the country as the Government makes huge strides in containing the effects of El Nino induced drought.

China’s ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhou Ding handed over the donation.

Ambassador Ding also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare Minister, July Moyo for another donation.
