Prominent Rusape lawyer succumbs to Covid-19

VETERAN Rusape-based lawyer and businessman, Mr Maxwell Chiwanza (65), has passed on this morning.

Mr Chiwanza was admitted at private hospital in Harare where he was being treated for Covid-19.
His partner, Mr Munyaradzi Manyengavana, confirmed Mr Chiwanza’s death without giving further details.

Besides his law practise, Big Max as Mr Chiwanza was affectionately known ran a number of retail shops, butcheries and bars in Rusape, Nyazura and Rukweza. He was also a successful cattle rancher.
