THE final list of candidates for Friday’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) and Zimbabwe Women’s Soccer League (ZWSL) elections has been confirmed.
The elections are scheduled for Friday in Harare, and the electoral process will strictly adhere to the ZIFA Statutes and the ZIFA Electoral Code (2024).
The polls will determine a new PSL board consisting of a chairperson, vice-chairperson, and three executive committee members.
In the ZWSL elections, voters will elect a new chairperson, vice-chairperson, and five board members.
Ex-Dynamos chairman Isaiah Mupfurutsa, now with Simba Bhora, is contesting the PSL chairperson position alongside Masimba Chihowa of Manica Diamonds, Dumisani Sisale of FC Platinum, and Leonard Musariri of Ngezi Platinum.
Highlanders chairman Kenneth Mhlophe is running unopposed and will assume the role of vice-chairperson of the Premier Soccer League.
