Badenhoist managed to win the tightly contested event by shooting a six under-par total at the tough and challenging Rowland Park course in Zvishavane.
The player finished the four rounds on 288. Scott Vincent who won the last tournament the Chapman Grandslam — finished second.
Ben Follet Smith was third while the rapidly improving Christian Mbanga finished fourth.
Tournament co-ordinator, Boniface Chigorimbo, said he was happy with the level of competition and believes the golfers are improving with each outing.
“The turnout was good we had very competitive players despite the chilly weather. The scores were good as the players managed to card some underpar scores.
“Unlike the Harare courses, Rowland Park proved tough, but they conquered it which shows that there is great improvement in the ranks,” Chigorimbo said.
