Reds still shopping

DUBLIN. — Liverpool are still eyeing new transfer targets ahead of deadline day, according to manager Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp has made three signings ahead of the new English Premier League soccer season, with Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke and Andy Robertson arriving at Anfield.

But, with midfielder Adam Lallana set to miss the opening two months of campaign with a thigh injury, Klopp is not ruling out the possibility of dipping back into the transfer market.

“Until the 31st of August we run through the world with open eyes,” Klopp said following his side’s 3-1 pre-season friendly win over Athletic Bilbao in Dublin.

“It’s not that we decide on our own, it’s also about other clubs.
“This pre-season has brought us new players. Alberto Moreno is 100 per cent back which is really nice after a difficult year.

“Andy Robertson has shown all the skills he’s got. He’s still adapting to our kind of football but you can see what a threat he can be offensively. — Sky Sports
