The tournament was supposed to be concluded on 8 December but there were glitches as the sponsor Redwood Ultra City had a busy schedule.
Now all is set for the tournament and the sponsor has confirmed that the event would go ahead this Sunday.
Communications officer for the event Madodana “Horsepower” Tshabangu also confirmed the development.
“This Sunday all the Redwood Trophy supporters are in for a treat as the competition will reach its long awaited finale on Sunday at Redwood.
“This time around all is set and all soccer lovers should flock to Redwood for a good soccer outing as well as a good time,” he said.
Both the semifinals and the final will be held on the same day.
Baku Rovers, the defending champions, will square it off with Eastern Strikers while Delta will face Maxaba United in the semi-finals before the winners’ clash.
