Residents demand ‘satanists’ addresses

This follows confessions by a 16-year-old girl that she belonged to a satanic cult that had killed 38 people in the suburb.

The girl alleged that there were about 60 satanists in the suburb who drank human blood and ate human flesh. She said some of them were leaders at a local church in the suburb.

In an interview yesterday, Ward 28 councillor, Clr Collet Ndhlovu said people in the suburb were demanding addresses of the alleged satanists, especially the house where the girl reportedly claimed she had an underground room where corpses were kept for the satanists to feed on. He, however, said he did not give the residents the addresses as they had reported the matter to the police.

“People in the suburb are coming to me demanding the addresses of the alleged satanists that were mentioned by the girl. But we cannot give them the addresses because they might go to the houses and attack those people.

“We have, however, reported the matter to the police and it is up to the police to deal with the matter accordingly. We have also laid charges against the girl’s boyfriend for sexually abusing her,” said Clr Ndhlovu.

“The residents association in the suburb teamed up with some residents and reported the man to the police although he argued that the girl lied to him about her age. We are now looking to the police to look into the matter,” said Clr Ndhlovu.

He said he met pastors from a number of churches to discuss a solution to the problem and they resolved to organise a day of prayer to cleanse the suburb.

“We are still organising the day of prayer and we are yet to set the date. The pastors from different churches said they want to go to the houses that were mentioned and pray until the demons come out,” said Clr Ndhlovu.

A police officer confirmed that they were investigating the case, but could not give details.

The police officer also requested addresses of those believed to be satanist from a Chronicle reporter who has been handling the story.
