BLACK RHINOS . . . . . . . . (0) 1
HOW MINE . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 0
A brilliantly executed solitary goal by Black Rhinos’ Nesbert Padzarondera on the hour mark suffocated the visiting How Mine in this Castle Lager Premiership soccer match at Rimuka yesterday. With predictions of a goalless draw looming, it was Pazarondera who conjured a gem of a goal that helped his side garner maximum points which they badly needed to drift away from the relegation zone.
How Mine conceded a corner which was taken by Wilson Chakanyuka and a poor clearance by the visitors’ defender fell to where Padzarondora was awaiting in “ambush” and his rising screamer beat keeper Donovan Bernard all systems out. How Mine assistant coach Ushe Chaka, who was with team in the absence of head coach Philani Dube who is attending a Caf coaching course in Harare, was full of praise for his gallant players who gave a good account of themselves and said they were very unfortunate not to have salvaged a point and in the same vein lamented the missed chances.
