Rogue prison guard busted for $700 bribe to spring armed robbers

B-Metro Reporter

A SHAMELESS prison officer is cooling his heels behind the same bars he helped criminals escape from after being caught red-handed in a $700 jailbreak scheme that saw dangerous armed robbers vanish into thin air!

Donald Madzinga, a 39-year-old Zimbabwe Prisons officer, allegedly turned traitor last week when he:
✔️ Took a $700 bribe
✔️ Used his Government-issued phone to plot the escape
✔️ Handed a revolver to inmates
✔️ Was even caught wearing an escapee’s jacket, like some twisted souvenir!

The brazen breakout happened at Harare Magistrates’ Court, with one fugitive hijacking a car at gunpoint while Madzinga allegedly played lookout. But his freedom was short-lived — cops nabbed him faster than you can say “corrupt cop” and the court denied bail, calling him a flight risk (especially since his wife lives in the UK!).
