SCOTTLAND FC head coach Tonderai Ndiraya and Dynamos skipper Emmanuel Jalai have been crowned the Premier Soccer League Coach and Player of the Month for October respectively.
Ndiraya’s tactical brilliance guided the newly-promoted Scottland FC to an unforgettable milestone, clinching the league title in their maiden PSL season. The Scots sealed the championship in emphatic style, thumping Kwekwe United 5-1 at Ascot Stadium on Sunday.
The result etched Scottland into local football folklore, making them only the second team in history to win the Premiership in their debut season, a feat previously achieved by Black Rhinos in 1984.
On the other end of the pitch, Emmanuel Jalai’s leadership and consistency at Dynamos earned him the player’s gong. The pint-sized defender has been a shining light for the Glamour Boys, helping them stay afloat in a difficult season.
Jalai capped off a fine month by coolly converting from the penalty spot in DeMbare’s 1–0 win over Bikita Minerals on Sunday, a result that eased relegation fears for the Harare giants.
Both Ndiraya and Jalai’s performances have not only lifted their teams but also showcased resilience, discipline, and a touch of brilliance as the season nears its close.
