Six killed in commuter omnibus crash

were travelling in overturned three times after the driver failed to negotiate a curve.

The accident occurred on Sunday around 7am at the five-kilometre peg before Wedza centre along the Wedza- Murambinda road.

Norman Shamu (35), Wisdom Magodo (37), Vimbai Kwenda (19), were identified by their relatives. The others are Taurai Mutepura (28), Timothy Chikavava (5) and a 20-year-old woman.
Mashonaland East provincial spokesperson, Inspector Bulisani Bhebhe, confirmed that 22 instead of 15 passengers were on board. There were going to attend a wedding ceremony.
