Skit gone wrong: Actors reunite

Entertainment Reporter

ACTOR Pedzisayi “Uncle Pedzie” Pedzisayi, has reunited with actress, Queen Victoria, with whom he did a skit which went horribly wrong.

It was mistaken for a domestic abuse case.

The two were spotted in Harare’s CBD and they appear to be working on a new project.

The pair’s video went viral last year where Uncle Pedzie appeared to be harassing Victoria, after she had ‘rejected’ his love proposal, at Joina City.

But, it was a skit which social media took as a real event.

Pedzisayi, who has featured in Estate Blues, Nzungu Muriva, and other productions, could not say much.

“We were discussing what transpired on the skit issue since it made noise.

“I even got rejected by the community over the skit, which was not even a reality.

“It was just a skit but citizen journalists twisted it and took it as reality.

“I became a victim of circumstances where I was rejected by the community claiming I was a domestic violence perpetrator.

“Victoria came back from South Africa and we met face-to-face,” he said.

Victoria couldn’t be drawn into commenting over the issue.
