Snake dreams haunt man

A man from Chishukwi area on the outskirts of Gweru in the Midlands Province is living in fear after several of his dreams encountering huge snakes attacking him came to pass.

The man, Abraham Dube, claims that every time he dreamt of a snake he met it the next day.

Fortunately he kills the same snake that would have strayed into his yard before it attacks him or his family.

a�?This has actually happened on several occasions. I remember the first time it occurred I was so shocked and asked myself how can I come across a snake that I saw in my dreams? Those snakes that I would have dreamt of when encountering them in real life would be very aggressive,a�? he said.

Dube said he was now living in fear as he suspected that the frequent visits by the snakes had something to do with witchcraft.

a�?I now fear for my family, because one day I wona��t be around to protect them against these snakes that seem to be frequenting my yard now and then,a�? he said.

Dube added that the snakes also seemed to be after his livestock.

a�?Every time I come across the snakes, ita��s either they will be headed to my bedroom hut or where I keep my livestock. Especially the one I killed recently, it wanted to attack a calf that was in the kraal,a�? he said.
