MasterCard, two air tickets from South African Airways as well as two tickets for the concert from Techtools, a Zimbabwean company that deals in Apple products.
Mrs Mutlokwa, who will be travelling with her husband Jabulani, will also be joined by two budding artistes Tariro “Wildfire” Ruzvidzo and Prayer “Prayersoul” Mutamangira at the concert.
The competition was part of Star FM’s promotional drive as it seeks to give value to its listeners and partners.
Presenting the prizes, Walter Wanyanya of Techtools said they were proud to partner Star FM’s Breakfast Club.
“Star FM is what it is because of listeners and their listeners are our customers, so this is a gesture to give back to the community that we do business with.
“It has been a wonderful promotion and we are happy that we have made a change in people’s lives who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to attend the live concert,” he said.
Mr Wanyanya said the two upcoming musicians would learn how to package their music since they will learn from the best.
“The truth is I have been following. I am a big fan of Prayersoul and Tariro so I thought it would be good to take them to the concert so that they learn more about music and how to take it on a higher level.
“They will mix and mingle with some of the best producers including Kunle Ayo and Andrew Baird,” he said.
Mr Admire Taderera, the general manager of Star FM, thanked the sponsors for bringing value to their listeners.
“We would like to thank our partners for giving us the confidence in doing what we do and I am sure by the time when we get to Christmas there will be lost in store.
“We hope to continue with things that bring value to our listeners and we are humbled that we have creative minds on Breakfast Club who keep their minds ahead all the time,” he said.
