What makes the show more enthralling for Kwekwe revellers is that the gig will mark the official opening of the state-of-the-art Autoworx car fitment centre.
Autoworx car fitment centre incorporates an upmarket restaurant and an entertainment wing which will host the bash.
The Dendera Kings frontman said he will use the show to sample some of his songs on his forthcoming album due for release later this year.
As his custom Sulu will also borrow some of his late father Simon Chimbetu’s songs, which will augur well with the old guard of Dendera music fans, while the younger generation will croon to his own compositions.
Supported by Allan, who was second in command at Orchestra Dendera Kings when Simon was still alive, Sulumani is expected to put up a polished act.
“Kwekwe will be set on fire on Friday and we are promising fans an unforgettable show because it will be my first time to sing some of the songs on my upcoming album,” said Sulumani.
Orchestra Dendera Kings will be ably complemented by Chigiyo gurus Zig Zag Band who will kick-start the proceedings.
Autoworx chief executive officer Mr Oswald Mashonganyika said his aim was to make the place the prime entertainment spot catering for a mature audience.
He called upon music fans to come in their numbers and have a taste of a rare combination of car service and entertainment, all bundled into one.
“Our main objective in coming up with such a concept is to provide our clients with a fully packaged service, car service and entertainment. Bringing Sulu and the Zig Zag Band is a way of showing the kind of entertainment package that we will be offering on an occasional basis,” he said.
The show will be preceded by an official opening ceremony where business people and politicians from across the political divide will be in attendance.
